We operate with the belief that parents are
a child’s first and most influential teacher.
Working with families we follow the Parents as Teachers
model of family support providing:
Personal Visits – to support developmentally appropriate activities and information about development, as well as answer parent questions or concerns.
Developmental Screenings - Using the Ages and Stages questionnaire to assess developmental stages, as well as annual health, hearing and vision screenings.
Play and Learn Groups - Provided to families with children up to kindergarten age. Parents can socialize and support each other as well as provide opportunities for their children to interact with other children of similar age. (Currently not available due to COVID-19 restrictions)
Resource Networking - Providing a connection to community resources that can assist families. We make referrals and provide information to families about local assistance.
